Faribault Public Schools has partnered with the National Center for Community Schools (NCCS) to enhance our community school efforts throughout the district. Community Schools is a strategy not a place. The Community School model is where we can transform our school into a place where everyone works together to strengthen and support our students so they can thrive not only in our schools, but in our community. Through Community School, we believe that partnerships between teachers, social workers, administrators, families, students, and the community is what can make a difference in the lives of our students and their families. These partnerships enable us to identify needs, organize in- and out-of-school resources, supports, and opportunities so our youth can thrive.
