Health and Safety plan:
To align with guidelines from the MN Dept. of Health and the MN Dept. of Education, the Kids World program will teach and practice Social Distancing and Health skills, including frequent hand washing and activity rotations. We will also maintain small groups of mixed age classrooms, with minimal interactions throughout the day with other children and adults.
*Face mask/coverings are required for both staff and children, except outdoors, during meal and snack times, and during high physical activities.
*Children should bring a labeled refillable water bottle each day. Drinking fountains will not be available however water bottle filling stations are available.
*Screening at Daily Drop-Off: The child's temperature will be taken and will be asked if they have the following symptoms: Temperature of 100 or above, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath. If the answer is YES to any symptom or the temperature is 100.4 or more, the child must return home and monitored for further symptoms.
Distance Learning Child Care Options:
“School-age care for children of critical workers is intended for extreme circumstances in which no parent or guardian is at home, due to employment as a critical worker. School districts and charter schools are encouraged to provide free school-age care for children of any essential worker, even if they are working remotely, but this is not required and would depend on capacity.”
