ACT Prep Class
The 12-hour ACT Preparatory Course meets for 3 hours, once each week for 4 weeks. The course is designed for students who wish to improve their test-taking skills and improve their overall scores on the college entrance exams. On average, students who finish the Advantage course improve their scores significantly. The Advantage course provides an introduction to the ACT and strategies for answering questions, as well as instruction and review for the specific subject areas. Strategies for the Written Essay are also covered.
Class sizes are limited due to “social distancing” guidelines. The in-school ACT prep classes close once they reach capacity limitations. As an alternative, the Advantage offers its Online ACT Preparatory Course. This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and at their desired pace. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email and can begin preparing on or after the starting date of July 21st. The fee for this course is $60.
*Students attending an in-school ACT Prep Course ALSO have access to the Online ACT Prep Course at NO CHARGE after classes begin.
Exams for the ACT are given seven times each year, and students are allowed to take the test as often as they wish. It is advisable to complete the exam by the spring of your junior year or the fall of your senior year at the latest. To register for the national ACT exam, go online to www.ACTStudent.org.
You may REPEAT this course as often as needed FREE OF CHARGE. If you would like to sign up as a repeat course for free, please call 507-333-6011.
